I apologize for the poor audio, strange camera angle sequence, and unorganized thoughts. I did an early morning sunrise shoot in Miami and filmed this afterward by attaching my camera to a tree with a gorilla tripod. I hope this is still helpful.

Here are a few films that inspire me:

THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE

THE MINIMALIST

THE BOWL

AROUND THE WORLD WITH GLOBAL DEGREE

MARIA'S STORY

8BEATS MOVIE

the video below is a compilation of the handheld footage i took when i was in india last year. This year I plan on bringing my drone, my 5d mark iv, glidecam hd 2000, mics, multiple lenses, and other filming accessories.

HERE is a link to the photos i took while in Kolkata last Christmas.

HERE is a link to my friend Clare's writing examples.

HERE is a blogpost from my friend Warner, describing last year's trip.

I do not think that I have emphasized enough the fact that I want this film to be powerful, real, and RAW. Everyone going on the trip has different struggles and are genuinely going on this trip to help themselves and come closer to God. None of us have our lives completely figured out and are just going to Kolkata for a mission trip/ vacation experience. We are seeking to become great and to learn from the Missionaries of Charity and the poor yet joyful people of Kolkata. I think we all have our struggles and I hope to go more in depth through personal interviews. Mike and I have been friends for many years and have been through a lot. My only and older brother overdosed and passed away in June of this year. Michael has become like a new brother to me. Through brotherhood and prayer we have been able to overcome temptations and addictions. We are not anywhere close to perfect but we are eager to become great. And we are eager to share with others our journey to happiness and fulfillment.

I completely understand if you have a different vision for this film. I plan on making a film on my own. (Although accountability and guidance would be very helpful). If you decide to go a different route, I would be happy to share with you my film when it is done and maybe we could collaborate then.

I hope to hear from you all soon. Thanks for your time and consideration. God Bless!
